Jacob Gifford and Nassiah Collins placed 5th in the May 22, 2020 Student Anglers Virtual Tournament. They also did something that has never been done before. A kayak team has never placed in the top 5 of any boat tournament.
The team is from Hasting and fishes in a pair of Ascend Kayaks. They have rigged the kayaks to be a formidable bass fishing platform complete with paddle holder, rod holders, tackle space and live well.
As you can see the Ascend platform is very stable. These are not toy kayaks.
The result, BIG BASS.
