Ryan McMahon has been fishing muskies for the last 25 years and guiding them for the last 10. His love for fishing started at a young age and evolved into a career that he is passionate about. He loves teaching and sharing my knowledge of musky fishing with others. As much as he enjoys the adrenaline rush of boating these fish, nothing beats the feeling of helping someone to their first musky or their personal best fish!
Throughout his career in musky fishing he has made appearances on Musky Hunter TV, Keyes Outdoors, and In Depth Outdoors. He has been writing for Musky Hunter Magazine for the past 10 years and is proud to be an On-the-Water Editor. He has also fished and guided in numerous Musky Tournaments with many clients finishing in the top 10 in the Metro Musky tournament and personally placed 3rd at the Lake Vermillion PMTT in 2015.
He is based out of the Twin Cities and fish local lakes throughout the year as well as some of the tremendous musky fisheries we have around the state of Minnesota. He loves a good adventure and has a long list of lakes that he will fish… this allows my boat to stay on good bites and put more fish in the boat!
