Last weekend I stopped into the local bait shop in White Bear Lake.  I was planning to take my grandson out to catch some northerns.  I live on a small lake in White Bear and we can usually pick some up with sucker minnows.  The local shop was out.  Frankies is 30 miles away but I figured an hour round trip was worth the effort.

Frankies had the sucker minnows and large golden shiners.  You can’t find those anywhere.  Frankie told me that they just caught 20 gallons of sucker minnows and 40 gallons of golden shiners.  We went out and sure enough we caught a few.
