Marine Technician
Frankie’s is looking for long term employee to join our team! Looking for a certified Mercury technician, duties to include but not limited to:
Proficient at accurately diagnosing and repairing 4 stroke and 2 stroke engines, prepping and running new product and other boat/engine diagnosing and repair as needed. Mercury computer diagnostics a must.
Attention to detail necessary regarding accurate troubleshooting and diagnosing engine failures, communicating parts needed and estimated time to repair to service manager and then completing repairs when parts are received as well. Responsible for filling out work orders with diagnosis-repair labor times and parts to be charged out to customer in order that the service personnel can complete work and order and invoice out to customer.

Salary: $52,000.00 – $72,800.00 per year

Service Coordinator
Frankie’s is looking for long term employee to join our team. We are the largest Ranger Boat Dealer in the Upper Midwest. We are in search of someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have ability to work well with varied customer and staff personalities. Must be detail oriented, able to multitask and resourceful with focus on results/customer satisfaction. Must be able to work closely with both parts personnel and service personnel.
Duties include but not limited to:
working with boat and engine manufacturers to facilitate technicians in resolving any issues where diagnostic help is needed
Handling customer walk-ins and schedule appointments
computer skills necessary
create work orders and schedule work to be completed, monitoring progress of work by service technicians and any needed parts orders
maintain customer contact via phone and email keeping customers updated as to progress of work and any issues which may arise regarding diagnosis, estimate and completion of boat and engine repairs
perform final quality check before customer is notified that work is completed
create and close purchase orders from subcontractors
close and print final customer invoices
communicate with other departments regularly to ensure any internal work orders are processed as needed
Looking for someone with superior customer service skills, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
