United Northern
Sportsmen’s 68th annual Ice Fishing Contest is Jan 30, 2022, on
Island Lake north of Duluth at the UNS club. Hours are 12:30 to 3:30
p.m.; gate prize drawing is $1000.00 cash plus prize drawings every 10 minutes
during the contest. Tickets are available from any UNS member or call 218.721.3979.
First Prize for largest fish is $1000.00, Second $500.00, Third $250.00, Fourth
$125.00, Fifth $75.00. Also, $50 & a trophy for the largest fish caught by a child age 15 or younger.
